Adnams' award-winning history of craft brewing was joined by spirits when they opened the Copper House distillery in 2010, and within a few years gin and vodka were awarded gold medals at the IWSC.

In 2018 the flagship low alcohol pale ale Ghost Ship 0.5% was launched- a real beer with the alcohol removed, using the only reverse osmosis brewing kit in the country.

Today they are one of a few grain-to-glass distillers in the UK - and one of the last remaining independent heritage brewers, blending traditional craft and provenance with pioneering techniques and technology.

Sustainability has been at the heart of Adnams' ethos for years and they have been reducing their environmental impact since 2005.

They brewed the UK’s first carbon neutral beer in 2008 and they have received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Sustainable Development three times.
